November 2023

November was a month of deep, internal exploration. This was a coming home to self unlike any self-return we’ve experienced before. Marked by a profundity of clear and curious self-sight, November brought us a sustained view of ourselves that allowed us to map the constellated beliefs and experiences by which we guide our lives.

Whereas, before, we managed to catch ourselves in glimpses here and there, we’re beginning to learn how to put the pieces together not only to flesh out a more comprehensive picture, but to learn how to feel into the experiences of our past selves alongside how it feels to inhabit our present selves. We’re beginning to learn what it is to truly embody our being-ness here on this earth. We started to not only hold our spiritual/intellectual selves alongside our creaturely bodies—more so, we started to integrate them—to bring them into a relationship of coextensive cohabitation: one that asks for mutual support.

Threads of our selves, once running parallel —not touching

brought together, weft to warp, end to end:

integrated—made whole—coextensive—inseparable

This is how we create something new, how we weave, braid, encircle

a new version of self.

This new approach enacted nothing short of turning our worlds upside down. In this experience of a newly embodied self we’re learning—in a physically palpable way—that there is a need and yearning to reside in our selves and our lives differently. Here we commence a new beginning, learning to navigate by different stars—ones that are less out there and more in here.
